The Bowen Technique is a very gentle hands on Technique that put simply encourages the body to heal. Being so gentle it is suited to people of all ages and can be performed on clients through light fitting clothes. A typical treatment session last approximately 45 mins to an hour and it is expected that an improvement will be noticed in the days after the treatment. Treatment is normally administered on a treatment couch , but clients can be treated sitting or standing - the clients comfort is of paramount importance. THere is alwaysd an indepth consultation before actual treatment to determine the appropriate Procedures to apply for that individual. Bowen is a holistic treatement in that it treats the wholem body not just the local area of concern to the client.
