Hi, my name is Dave and I'm your local OSCAR Nutritional Adviser for Hinckley, Nuneaton and the surrounding area. I am a COAPE Qualified Animal Nutritionist and offer professional advice for all your pet's issues, including delicate stomach, itchy skin, fussy eating, dull coat, joint problems, or being overweight. Or maybe you simply want a good quality food, for the appropriate life stage of your pet, at a fair price! We also sell accessories, treats and health care products.

They say dogs change your life: well, my Boxador (Buster) certainly did that when I rescued him at 10 months old. He was skin and bone with a dull coat and delicate stomach. After trying several high street brands of dog food, none of which suited him, it was a chance meeting with our local OSCAR Franchisee at the Burbage Common Open Day who (thanks to her nutritional expertise) advised me to put Buster on OSCAR Gluten Free food. In no time at all his stomach settled, he gained weight, his coat shone, and he went from strength to strength.

In fact, I was so impressed with the quality of OSCAR food that when OSCAR Hinckley & Nuneaton came up for sale, I decided to buy the business. Having just been made redundant after 30 years in the Aerospace industry, this British, family run business caught my eye. It is highly principled and ethical, using only natural ingredients in its pet food, with no artificial colourings or preservatives; not to mention recyclable packaging and containers, and honestly labelling 100% of its ingredients by name.

Buster is my constant companion - travelling with me in my van when I'm out delivering OSCAR pet food.
