Having spent a number of weeks searching for an oak bed, a friend suggested visiting A Touch of Pine.
There was a vast selection of ranges and I could see how the various items were assembled. There was no pressure selling and the store staff were very knowledgable. I initially ordered a bed and wardrobe. When the delivery chaps arrived they put sheets down to protect my new carpets and assembled the furniture in record time.
I have since ordered two further chests of draws, two bed side cabinets, a further wardrobe and another bed.
The quality of the furniture is outstanding (try shaking the head board on any bed to see how strong it is) and I believe represents very good value for money.

We live on the island of Jersey, so getting hold of quality furniture is not easy unless you are prepared to 'pay through the nose' for it. We recently ordered 4 items of furniture from the store, at a great price. Additionally since we are not VAT rated in the UK, I tasked Gary and the team to look into the logistics of removing the VAT. Gary returned my call almost immediately with a positive response. Gary and the team arranged for the delivery to be made to a haulage company in Portsmouth who rapidly shipped to Jersey and delivered directly to our home. The VAT refund more than paid for the shipping. I would encourage anyone living off shore to use, Gary and his team, if they are looking for quality furniture at an affordable price. The furniture is now in position and looks amazing.
