Testimonials

“Fun for all the family with plenty of room to manoeuvre ”

We visited Gaydon on a half term morning in February. Despite having to queue on arrival the service was friendly and we gift aided our ticket which allowed us free entry for the rest of the year.
As I am married to a classic car but that went down well at the offset. There were an array of classic cars and cats of interest that had been in situ for many years and as we had visited on several occasions before I was unsure that there would be anything new on offer. We were not however disappointed. The formerly mentioned car but is also a James Bond fan and the inclusion of several of the famous automobiles from Skyfall did not disappoint. One of my favourites is the Austin signed by all involved in it's creation and the quaint motoring cinema complete with retro seating.

Coupled with Lego making activities for the younger folk and those young at heart it made for a pleasant day.

“Half term activities”

This was a great museum with loads of interesting past and special cars. Nice cafe, though food area was small, restaurant huge and family friendly. Food very reasonable. However, we were there for the half term activity which promised to be very interesting for your bright child. The Education Centre where these activities are held is far too small and today was absolutely packed even though we waited till we had had lunch and then checked it out. It ran from 10.30 to 3pm and in such a small room it would have been better to ask for prior booking in some sort of rota scheme or use one of the Jaguar Lecture rooms. After all there is masses of space to be had. . I was going tomorrow and Friday but have decided against it as we are not exactly close by.

“Feast for your eyes”

Some amazing vehicles and real rarities, disappointing that you cannot open the doors or even touch any of the vehicles.
The Land Rover Experience at £9 each is little over priced however what an amazing machine, it gives you a true understanding of the technology behind Land Rover.
